[tfctoastmasters:412] June 6th TFC Toastmasters Meeting Agenda

Hello Toastmasters,
The agenda for tomorrow night's meeting is attached.

Our meeting begins at 6:45pm and is located at the AED building at 1875 Connecticut Avenue. Please try to arrive by 6:40pm to ensure that we start and end on time. If you have a role and are running late, please be sure to text me at 202-821-8074 so we can plan accordingly.  (I'll even remember to keep my phone in front of me.)

AED is located approximately 3 blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro (red line), North exit on the right. You can also take the 42 Bus heading north from Metro Center. If you need to park, there are normally metered spots in front of AED on Connecticut available, as well as some spots on T Street.  AED has two entrances (1825 & 1875) and we need to enter through the 1875 entrance. The doors will be locked, so we will meet in the lobby before the meeting.  If you come after the start of the meeting, the building guard will let you inside. Please give the guard your name and he or she will let you up to the meeting on the 12th Floor at the American Public Power Association's main conference room.

As a reminder, at our next meeting on June 20th we will host a potluck celebration of the club's 5-year anniversary and hold officer elections.  We'll circulate a potluck sign-up sheet during tomorrow's meeting to help coordinate the festivities.  We will also have a real "speech-a-thon" -- a range including members giving their first and tenth speeches -- to accommodate the exceptionally high demand for June speaking slots.  Therefore we will only have written evaluations so that we can also have time for elections.  (No speaking tip, table topics, timer/Ah counter reports, etc.)  I'll need evaluators -- please let me know tomorrow or email me off-line if you can be an evaluator with the understanding that there won't be a speaking opportunity this time.

Cheers,
