Good evening NW1 Library neighbors,
Spring is here, so head to the library for those materials on gardening, allergies, and local bicycling + hiking trails! DC Public Libraries are doing some Spring cleaning: starting on April 6th we are instituting a new fine policy. Please see http://dclibrary.org/borrowingmaterials for more information. Attached is the NW1 Library April calendar of events - please share it around! Lots of fun things happening this month - Yoga, computer help, Wii Night, book clubs, Spring time + earth-friendly crafts , and more. We are having a special Jazz + Poetry Open Mic on Thursday April 19th at 5pm - all are welcome! Email for more information or if you'd like to bring a group.
Ms. Mason, our new Children's Librarian has added a third storytime so we have a new storytime structure at NW1:
Mondays @ 11:00am - Mother Goose on the Loose (ages birth - 24 months)
Wednesdays @ 10:00am - Preschool Story Time (ages 2 -5)
Wednesdays @ 11:00am - Tales for Two and Threes (ages 2 -3).
Also, free tax return preparation continues through April 13th on Fridays from 10:00am-2:00pm - see the attached flyer.
